Meatball Noodle Bake
I saw this recipe in a video on Facebook and it looked delicious so I had to make it! Very easy and what a great idea to put the bread sticks right in with everything else! The video that I watched left the bread sticks in the whole time of baking and they looked burnt so I took mine out of the dish when they were done and just continued baking everything else! Worked perfect!
The alfredo sauce with the diced tomatoes made for a wonderful pairing! This is a family friendly meal for sure! My family gobbled it down!
24-25 frozen meatballs
2 (15 ounces each) jars Alfredo Sauce
1 (14.5 ounces) can diced tomatoes, I used oregano/basil/garlic flavor
Italian seasoning, to taste
salt & pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese or more to taste
2 Tablespoons parmesan cheese, from the green can
15 slices pepperoni
5-6 frozen bread sticks
Rotini pasta, made separately on stovetop
Preheat oven 375°
In a 9x13 baking dish spread out meatballs. Add Alfredo sauce and diced tomatoes. Stir to mix well.
Add seasoning and salt & pepper. Top with Mozzarella cheese and then Parmesan cheese. Next layer pepperoni on top of cheese.
On the edges of the dish, place bread sticks around the edge of the cheese.
Bake until breadsticks are done and remove them from the dish and continue baking the rest of the dish until cheese is melted and dish is cooked a total of about 20-25 minutes.
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain.
To plate, lay pasta and then top with Meatball Bake and have a bread stick on the side.
