Sour Cream Meatloaf & GravyThis was a good but different recipe for meatloaf to me! I have eaten a meatloaf similar to this when dining out but meatloaf I have made at home has always had a red base to it whether it is ketchup or Italian sauce! I liked this and so did my family! The meatloaf holds together nicely and is very moist! 2 eggs 1 (8 ounce) sour cream, divided 1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup Dry Bread Crumbs (I used Panko Bread Crumbs) 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped 2 Tablespoons parsley 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon Dijon-style Mustard (I used spicy brown mustard) 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef 1 packet Brown Gravy Mix In a large bowl combine eggs, 1/2 cup of the sour cream & milk. Stir in the bread crumbs, onion, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt & pepper. Add beef and mix thoroughly. Form into a loaf. Pat into a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1-1/4 hours or until meat thermometer registers 170 degrees. Gravy Stir together remaining 1/2 cup sour cream with the packet of gravy mix. Add the amount of water as directed on the package. Cook according to package directions. Serve gravy over meatloaf slices. Serves 6
