Sloppy Joe French Bread PizzaWe love Manwich! It used to be our go to meal before I learned how to cook! It's seems like it's been forever since I've made it! This was actually delicious and I'll be making it again! The Manwich and it was the Bold Manwich, with the added veggies and cheese were so good on the crispy French bread! The crunch of the bread was amazing! Very easy to make and done in a Jif! Recipe adapted from YELLOW BLISS ROAD which is one of my favorite food blogs! 1 loaf French Bread cut in half lengthwise 1 pound ground beef, browned and drained 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 bell peppers, diced, I used red and orange 1/2 cup onion, diced 1 (15 ounce) can Manwich Bold Sauce 2 cups shredded Colby Jack Cheese Preheat oven to 350° Line a sheet pan with foil and place bread halves side by side, cut side up. In a large skillet brown and crumble ground beef. Drain. In the same skillet heat olive oil. Add peppers and onion and sauté 4-5 minutes until starting to get a little char on them. Return ground beef to skillet with veggies and mix well. Stir in Manwich and simmer 4-5 or until it thickens up somewhat. Spread meat mixture evenly on the french bread halves. Top with desired amount of cheese. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Cut into slices and serve.
