Zatarain's New Orleans Style Jambalaya 2 WaysWho couldn't use a little help with dinner? Well I fell in love with Zatarain's New Orleans Style Jambalaya Mix! It is somewhat spicy but oh so good! I have made it 2 different ways and both ways are awesome! I buy the family size box but they have a regular size box if you aren't feeding a family! Chicken & Shrimp Jambalaya1 family size box Zatarain's New Orleans Style Jambalaya Mix 1 small onion, diced 1 small red or green bell pepper or both 1 (9 oz.) package southwestern flavored chicken strips (see picture below) 1 (20 piece) shrimp ring (no tails and deveined) Saute chicken, shrimp and veggies in a small amount of extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice for 5 minutes or so. Prepare according to box instructions adding in your bell peppers, onion and meat. Chicken I Used:Polska Kielbasa Sausage JambalayaCut the sausage into coins and you don't have to saute it or the veggies, just throw it in with everything else. Prepare as above but using the sausage instead of chicken and shrimp.
