Spaghetti Burger
I saw something like this on The Rachael Ray Show but she didn't use leftover spaghetti but since I had some leftover I decided to make my burgers that way and boy were they delicious!
Serving them on Texas Toast Garlic Bread was perfect! The crunch of the toast with the saucy spaghetti middle and provolone cheese smothering the burger was out of this world delicious! A great way to use up that leftover spaghetti too!
We were little piggy's eating these! Amazing and a new twist on burgers which we love!
Makes 4 Sandwiches
1 pound ground beef, divided
1 Tablespoon Dry Italian Dressing Seasoning Mix
1½ cups leftover spaghetti with sauce/meat/veggies already mixed together, or however you make your spaghetti
1 cup spaghetti sauce, divided
4 slices provolone cheese
4 slices Texas toast garlic bread, store bought or homemade
Preheat oven to 425°
Divide beef and leftover spaghetti into 4 equal parts. Season with Italian Seasoning Mix. For each 4 parts make 2 patties for each burger placing the leftover spaghetti in the middle of the 2 patties. Seal seams to hold spaghetti in the center of patty. Some spaghetti will be sticking out of burger and that's ok.
Heat a skillet to medium and fry burgers 5 minutes each side or until your desired doneness.
Add spaghetti sauce to each burger and top with provolone cheese and some more sauce.
Continue cooking until sauce warms and cheese melts.
Bake garlic bread until nice and crunchy and top with burger, open faced.
