Leftover Spaghetti Grilled Cheese
OMGoodness this is genius! Soooo good! I had some leftover spaghetti and stumbled upon a recipe using leftover spaghetti and then this recipe was born!
Spaghetti and garlic bread, what's not to like about that? This was fantastic! The ciabatta bread toasted up nicely with the perfect crunch in every bite!
I make my spaghetti with sauce and crumbled ground beef so this grilled cheese was saucy and meaty! The only thing I could have added would of been grated Parmesan (like in the green container) either right on the spaghetti or on the top bun as it was grilling but I didn't think of it until it was to late!
Next time you have leftover spaghetti you need to try this Grilled Cheese!
Recipe idea from WHAT THE FORKS FOR DINNER
To Make 1 Sandwich
¾-1 cup leftover spaghetti with sauce/meat/veggies already mixed in or however you make your spaghetti, warmed
1 ciabatta bun
butter
garlic salt
2 slices provolone cheese
Warm leftover spaghetti completely. Your leftover spaghetti should already have sauce, meat, veggies, etc. or however you make it, mixed together.
Heat a sprayed skillet to medium heat.
Butter the top and bottom side of bun. Sprinkle top with garlic salt.
Lay bun open face in skillet. Top side down in skillet and bottom of bun down too.
Place one slice of cheese on each side of open bun.
Cook until cheese is melting and bun is getting toasty, 3-4 minutes approximately.
Add spaghetti on bottom bun and place top bun on top.
Continue cooking 2 minutes or so until cheese melts on spaghetti. Don't burn the bun.
