Crunchy Nacho BurgersLast time we had burgers we had an extra one and hubby was a little hungry later in the evening so he warmed up the burger and started looking around for things to add! Well we had some nacho cheese and tortilla chips and that's exactly what he put together! I tasted it and it was delicious so we decided to make it the proper way and get the grill out for the next time we made them! The Grill Master (hubby) went to work on his creation and we had an awesome meal! *We love On The Border Salsa Con Queso which is a little kick, little chunky, nacho cheese sauce sold in a jar at the grocery store! It's great warmed up and eaten with tortilla chips and it takes a burger to a whole new level! Yummy! 1 pound ground beef 1 teaspoon taco seasoning mix, or to taste 1 cup nacho cheese sauce, On The Border Salsa Con Queso is excellent ( *see my note about it above) crunchy tortilla chips hamburger buns, toasted Mix ground beef and taco seasoning mix. Shape into 4 patties. Grill over medium heat 13-15 minutes, about 7-8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness. When burgers are about 5 minutes from being cooked to desired doneness, add nacho sauce to each burger or you can warm sauce in the microwave. Add buns to grill and toast inside of buns if desired. Continue cooking for the final minutes until sauce is warmed. Place cheesy burgers on bottom bun and top with crunchy tortilla chips. Place top bun on tortilla chips.
