Country Chicken SkilletRecipe from salsarose (Taste Of Home) Delicious meal! The chicken needs little to no seasoning because the soup mix has a salty taste! I would wait on seasoning the chicken until after it's done so you can see if it needs anything! Very hearty meal with your veggies all in one pot! We loved this dish! 2 tablespoons margarine or butter 1½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast- cubed 1 cup water 1 package Knorr Recipe Vegetable Soup, Dip and Recipe Mix (Or Liptons) ½ cup sour cream In 12 inch nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat and brown chicken, turning occasionally, about 5 minutes. Combine water and soup mix; stir into skillet. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Stir in sour cream until heated. Serve over noodles or rice if desired.
