Strawberry DaiquiriNice frosty drink for a hot summer night! I love virgin strawberry daiquiri's but I can handle a small glass with the rum in it and it was a special occasion, Nate's (my son) girlfriend Kandice's birthday! She made us a blender full of strawberry daiquiri's but made Hannah (my daughter) a virgin then added the rum in! The lime and sugar around the rim of the glasses is out of this world good and the drink is so refreshing with the strawberries being the main attraction! I would have loved to of had some whipped cream on hand but I didn't! Go ahead and take a dip into one of these cool babies! 2 cups sugar 1 cup water 1 (15.5 ounces) frozen strawberries, thawed 1 lime, cut in half 1 cup white rum Ice Sugar to rim the glasses Mix sugar and water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool. This makes your simple syrup. In a blender put strawberries, juice of half of the lime, rum and 1 cup of the simple syrup. Add as much ice as you like but normally it's half of the blender. Blend until smooth. Run the remaining half of lime around rims of glasses and dip rim in sugar. Pour daiquiri into glasses. Serve.
