Italian Crock Pot ChickenSource: Arlene (Areinchi Taste Of Home) There is nothing better than coming home from work and dinner is ready in the crock pot! One thing I might do different next time is, add the mozzarella cheese to the crock pot about 30 minutes before it is done! I microwaved the mozzarella on the chicken this time and I just loved the chicken straight out of the crock pot without the mozzarella. So tender and tasty! I've had this in my to try pile for a long time and so glad I finally made it! I served this over Linguine. 1 bag frozen boneless chicken breasts (2 pounds); you can put these in frozen, if desired, I used fresh chicken1 Packet Dry Spaghetti Sauce Seasoning Mix 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes (Italian Stewed or Italian Diced Tomatoes with oregano, basil and garlic is good) 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce Parmesan Cheese Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Place the chicken in the crockpot. Sprinkle Dry Spaghetti Sauce Seasoning Mix over top. Add the can of tomatoes and the can of tomato sauce. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese. Cook all day (7 - 9 hours) on LOW or 1/2 Day (3 1/2 - 4 1/2 hours) on HIGH. (NOTE: Experiment based on how your slow cooker works, but using frozen chicken breasts will allow a longer cooking time.) Top with shredded Mozzarella and additional Parmesan cheeses. Serve with Penne pasta.
