Mini Deli Panini'sI love my new panini press my hubby got me for Christmas! I had some small party size rye bread to use up so I decided to make some mini paninis! Wonderful! I made 3 different kinds with the deli lunch meat and cheeses I had on hand! They were so tasty with the buttery crunch of the rye bread, the fresh meat and the ooey, gooey cheese! You could make any type of mini panini with whatever meat and cheeses you like! I just threw the paninis together so add as much as you like to each panini! small party size rye bread butter lunch meat and cheeses of your choice condiments of your choice Preheat panini press. Spread butter on one side of each piece of bread. For the pepperoni pizza panini, add slices of pepperoni, shredded parmesan cheese and pizza sauce to the un-buttered side of bread. For the corned beef and swiss panini, add slices of thin corned beef, swiss cheese and yellow mustard to the un-buttered side of bread. For the ham and cheese panini, add slices of thin ham and american or cheddar cheese to the un-buttered side of bread. Place the sandwiches together with both buttered sides of bread facing out. Place on panini press and lower lid. Let grill for 3 minutes or so or until your desired crispiness. Remove and cool 1-2 minutes. Serve.
