Deluxe Flat Bread Pizza
We love pizza of all different kinds and from all different pizza parlors even our go to homemade pizza but this is different! No working with dough to make it, and making it on flat bread is soooooo good! I first discovered making pizza on flat bread a few weeks ago at work and I thought, "this is so simple" and I'm going to make these at home and they will be tailored to each individuals liking since they are individual pizza's! Win, Win in my house because no one agrees on toppings when we have pizza! I am usually on the short end of the stick because I'm the only one who loves lots of toppings!
I like a crispier crust rather than a soft crust and the way to make them crispier is to bake them directly on a preheated oven rack and follow up in the broiler! If you like a softer dough just place your pizza on a cookie sheet! This pizza was amazing with the crispier crust, my favorite Chef Boyardee Pizza Sauce, all the cheesy goodness and all my favorite toppings! I like a few more topping but didn't have them on hand! It would have been good to add some green pepper, sausage and bacon but this pizza was perfect! It was so perfect that pizza delivery is not in my near future!
To Make 1 Pizza
1 (8 inch) Naan Soft Flat Bread
3-4 Tablespoons pizza sauce
2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 cup Mozzarella cheese
Toppings of choice, I used pepperoni slices, diced onion, banana pepper rings, sliced black olives
Preheat oven 375°
Spread pizza sauce on flat bread. Sprinkle 1 Tablespoon of grated Parmesan. Add Mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni, sprinkling with remaining Parmesan cheese and then diced onion, banana pepper rings and sliced black olives.
Bake 15 minutes directly on oven rack. Remove to a cookie sheet and place in broiler 2 minutes or until cheesy is bubbly.
Serve
