Cheesy Party Burgers AKA Diamond Burgers
I couldn't wait to make these little gems when I found them on Kevin & Amanda's Blog! Amanda said when she made these "Kevin took one bite and said she should call them Diamond Burgers because they’re small and bite sized like a Krystal burger, but who would want a Krystal Burger when you could have a Diamond Burger! I totally agree with him!
We love Krystal burgers but can only get them when we head south and we are heading that way to Florida in July! Daytona Beach has a Krystal's right on the beach boulevard! These Diamond Burgers are nothing like a Krystal! It's just the comparison of a Krystal to a Diamond that is so cute!
These babies were delicious! The little bit of sweetness on the top from the brown sugar and the tad bit of spiciness from the Rotel tomatoes! I use mild Rotel so it wasn't to spicy! All the spices in the ground beef were perfect and the glaze was awesome! These would be a great party pleaser!
I changed up how I made these which was a little different from Amanda but I used what I had on hand and my preference on how I like to cook my beef which is to drain it before adding spices! I also read some reviews and some comments said the bottom bun wasn't toasty so I toasted my buns first and it is how I wrote the directions!
