Bacon Cheeseburger Quesadillas
This is crazy good! We love cheeseburgers and we love tortilla's and this recipe was perfect for us! Easy to make too! The taste was mouth watering just like eating a big juicy cheeseburger topped with ketchup and mustard with a twist of worcestershire and without the bready bun! The tortilla worked great for this! I love finding different ways to use flour tortilla's other than wraps and burrito's!
I used my flat griddle which was the perfect choice! Lots of room to flip the large tortilla!
1 pound ground beef, brown & drain
5 slices bacon, cooked, drained and chopped
salt & pepper to taste
3 teaspoons ketchup
2 teaspoons mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 large flour tortillas
spray butter
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 grape tomatoes, sliced
1 small onion, diced
whatever toppings you like, pickles, lettuce, etc.
Add ground beef to a large skillet over medium-high heat then lightly season with salt and pepper. Cook until no longer pink. Drain.
While ground beef is cooking, in another skillet cook bacon and drain on paper towels. Chop bacon into bite size pieces.
Return to the skillet and stir in in ketchup, mustard, worcestershire and chopped bacon. Mix well.
Spray griddle or skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat.
Lightly spray the outside of tortilla with butter spray.
Lay tortillas out then spread 1/4 of the seasoned ground beef on one half of each tortilla. Top with cheese, tomatoes, onion or toppings of choice.
Cook until lightly brown on one side, then fold in half, press down, then flip folded tortilla over and cook until lightly brown on the other side.
Cool 5 minutes, then slice into wedges.
