Asian Grilled ChickenThis is what I said when we made Asian Grilled Pork Chops, "Let me start off by saying, you have to make rice with this because the sauce is freaking delicious! Hubby said it's the best sauce that we've made EVER"! Well, this marinade was just as delicious on chicken! Nice and juicy with an Asian flair! Such a versatile marinade! It's great just on the rice and even better on chicken or pork chops! The flavors work so well together! The sweetness from the brown sugar and the saltiness from the soy sauce is out of this world good! Add in the hint of sesame oil and you have the perfect Asian delight! You can drink this stuff! Makes 1 batch Marinade 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 4 tablespoons brown sugar 1 garlic clove, minced 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1 teaspoon dark sesame oil 1½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken tenders 1 cup of cooked rice is highly recommended In a large Ziploc bag place oils, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger and garlic; mix well. Add chicken. Marinate in refrigerator 6 hours. Remove from marinade and discard marinade. In a separate bowl make another batch of marinade and save for serving. Grill chicken over medium high heat 6 to 7 minutes per side or until cooked through, reaching 175°. Warm the 2nd batch of marinade on the stove until it reduces just a little and thickens up. When rice is finished, spoon some over rice. Also drizzle over finished chicken.
