Grilled Balsamic Glazed Rib Eye Steak
I love the Balsamic Glaze from Trader Joe's! It is thicker than regular balsamic vinegar and has a slight sweet taste! It can be used for things like salad, dressing plates for special occasions, great basting sauce for meat, poultry and fish! For a new and interesting taste it can be used as a dessert topping on fresh strawberries and vanilla ice cream! I first tasted Balsamic Glaze at TGIF (Fridays) when they drizzled it on top of a crispy quesadilla appetizer which they don't offer anymore! It was delicious! I was sold on the idea!
We wanted to try marinating our steaks this time instead of our usual topped with sauteed onions and garlic which is delicious! Oh Yes, I'm going to use the Balsamic Glaze I just picked up at Trader Joe's! I looked up some steak marinades and added a little bit of this and a little bit of that from recipes I found and came up with this marinade using my Balsamic Glaze!
I'm going to use the line "Magically Delicious" from Lucky Charms cereal! This steak was Magically Delicious and Freaking Awesome! OMGosh, it is the best steak I've ever eaten including from any steakhouse! This marinade turned this steak into something way beyond steak! The steak was perfectly cooked, light pink on the inside, and the caramelized char on the outside was super! No one ingredient stuck out but all of them combined made for "one sassy" flavor! You won't need any steak sauce, extra spices or anything else! Perfect straight from the grill to the plate! This is the way we will eat our steaks from here on out and we are going to try this marinade on grilled chicken next!
Hail to the Grill Master, my hubby!
Here is a link to the Balsamic Glaze

1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 (8-10 ounce each) Rib Eye Steaks or steak of choice
In a large Ziploc bag or dish combine all sauce ingredients and mix well.
With a fork, poke holes all over steaks or use a meat tenderizer. Add steaks to marinade and refrigerate 4 hours or more. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes prior to grilling and let rest.
Preheat grill to high.
Grill steaks on each side 4-5 minutes or until your desired inside temp and color.
Remove from grill and let steaks rest 10 minutes before serving.
