Air Fryer Chicken Parm
My kids bought me an Air Fryer for Christmas! I had never used one or eaten anything that was air fried! I decided to make Chicken Parm since I had some homemade sauce that we purchased on our Thanksgiving vacation in Daytona Beach Florida at the local Farmer's Market! There was a Chef there with his sauce and we bought some to bring home! It was wonderful and for the life of me I can't find his business card or remember his name! I do know that our next trip to Daytona we will be visiting the Farmer's Market again!
Anyway, the sauce was amazing! Air frying is something I will have to get use to but it turned out great! Nice and crispy on the outside and nice and tender on the inside!
Now what to make next in the Air Fryer?
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (thinner breast is best)
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 cup Italian Panko breadcrumbs
½ cup flour
24 ounces your favorite spaghetti sauce or pizza sauce (if you're making noodles you'll need this much)
1½ cups Italian Blend shredded cheese
spaghetti noodles
Lightly spray rack. Preheat fryer to 390°
Pour Olive Oil into a bowl. In another bowl mix breadcrumbs and flour.
Lightly coat chicken with Olive Oil.
Coat both sides of chicken with breadcrumb flour mixture, patting down with hands so mixture stays on chicken good.
Air Fry 15 minutes on one side before flipping them. After flipping, air fry another 10 minutes.
Warm sauce on stove top and add sauce, ½ cup or so and cheese to top of chicken and air fry until cheese is melted, 2-3 minutes.
Use remaining sauce for spaghetti noodles.
I served with some cheesy garlic bread.
