Cheesy Chili Burger ShellsWe love the Velveeta Shells! Jazzing them up was delicious! I got the idea for what I made from Tammilee Tips and it turned out great! Red Gold has a diced tomato that is Chili Ready and it is so good! It went perfect in this recipe! I plan on adding this into dinner rotation! This would be good with some garlic bread! I'll try that next time! Quick to throw together and cheap on your budget too! 1 pound ground beef, browned and drained 1 box Velveeta Shells and Cheese 3 Tablespoons chili powder ΒΌ cup water 1 (14.5 ounce) can Chili Ready Diced Tomatoes (Red Gold Brand has this flavor tomatoes) 1 cup of your favorite shredded cheese Brown ground beef and drain. Make Velveeta shells according to box instructions. Drain. Add cheese packet to shells and mix well. Return ground beef to skillet and add chili powder and water. Mix well and bring to a boil and boil 4-5 minutes. Add diced tomatoes. Boil another 2 minutes. Add shells back into skillet, mix well and cook on low 2-3 minutes. Turn off heat and add shredded cheese, mixing well and let it melt. Serve.
