Red White & Blue SlawWhat a perfect 4th of July dish or anytime! A great way to use up the fresh cabbage and tomatoes from the garden! Delicious! All the flavors gel together perfect! The crisp cabbage with the slaw dressing, mixed with the bacon and tomatoes is so fresh tasting! Add in the blue cheese taste and and the flavor is WOW! Something different for the taste buds other than your normal slaw! So easy to make! Done in a jiff! This recipe comes from my mom and she found it in an old church cookbook of hers! 1 pound cabbage, shredded 1/2 cup soft bacon bit pieces, or more to taste ½ cup blue cheese crumbles 10-12 cherry tomatoes, diced 1 cup Original Slaw Dressing, Marzetti is good Combine shredded cabbage, bacon bits, blue cheese and diced tomatoes. Mix well. Add slaw dressing and toss to coat well. Refrigerate 2 hours or until chilled.
