Dr. Pepper Chili Dogs
Some seriously good chili and some seriously good chili dogs! Yum! We love chili dogs or as they are known around our area, chili cheese coneys! There is a little sweetness going on in the chili from the Dr. Pepper and the spice from the chili powder and cayenne pepper balances out everything for the perfect tasting chili! Topped with a mound of shredded cheddar cheese makes for one delicious dog! This chili would be so good on spaghetti as well!
The color of the finished chili is beautiful!
This makes more than you will need for 8 hot dogs! Plenty leftover chili! Make some more dogs or freeze for another day!
I found the original recipe for this on Plain Chicken! We found it to be a bit bland for our taste buds so I doctored it up and made some changes and have listed the recipe that way! Stephanie from the Plain Chicken Blog has some awesome recipes! You can find her Original recipe on her blog www.plainchicken.com/2015/05/dr-pepper-chili-dogs.html#more
