These were delicious! Kind of like a jazzed up beanie weenie! I got the ideal for this recipe from Bush's Best but their recipe baked it from the get go but we were grilling out so we grilled our hot dogs! We like them better grilled anyway!
We are making these again the next time we grill! It really makes a boring hot dog a super delicious hot dog! Yummy! We had left over beans as our side dish because this recipe doesn't use them all! You can buy a smaller can if you don't want leftover! Super easy recipe!
8 hot dogs 1 (28 ounce) can BUSH'S® Brown Sugar Hickory Baked Beans or Original 8 hot dog buns, Pepperidge Farm Top Split hot dog buns are perfect yellow mustard, to taste, optional 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup white onions, chopped
Preheat oven to 375°
Grill hot dogs to your liking. Warm beans on stove top or microwave.
Place hot dogs in buns and add mustard if desired. Top with beans, cheese and onion. You'll have left over beans for the side if you wish.
Wrap completely in foil but leave room at the top so the cheese doesn't stick to the foil.
