BBQ Country Style RibsThis rub is perfect! I felt like the chili powder was the prominent flavor which was very good! The recipe called for red pepper flakes but we love cayenne pepper so I used it! Great choice! My son Nate said it was the best meal that I've ever made! We really enjoyed this meal but especially him and if you can please your kids like that with a meal then it was definitely a winner! And I say "kid" but he is 25! I served this with Alfredo Noodles and it was a great combo with the ribs! Recipe adapted from SPEND WITH PENNIES4 pounds country style ribs 2 cups BBQ sauce Rub Ingredients1 tablespoon chili powder 2 tablespoon dark brown sugar, packed 2 teaspoons smoked paprika 1 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon kosher salt 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper ½ teaspoon black pepper Preheat oven to 250° Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. In a small bowl whisk together rub ingredients. Coat the ribs in the seasoning and cover tightly with foil. Cook for 1½-2 hours or until the ribs just start to feel tender. Remove from the oven and liberally baste all sides with BBQ sauce. Cook for another 30-45 minutes or until fork tender.
