Dr. Pepper BBQ RibsTangy Sweetness Ribs! Delicious! The Dr. Pepper and BBQ Sauce went so well together and when it was time to throw them in the oven the sauce caramelized on the ribs and it was Love In The Tummy! Hubby said they would have been great shredded and served as a sandwich too! Good Idea! 3 ingredients and the Slow Cooker does most of the work! You have the final step but that is an easy step! You could even do the final step on the grill! We would have but it was a cold January day so we did it in the oven! Recipe from An Affair From The Heart 3 pounds boneless country style pork ribs 2 (12 ounces each) cans Dr. Pepper pop, divided 1 cup BBQ sauce Place ribs in the bottom of your slow cooker, pour 1½ cans of pop over them. Cover and slow cook for 7 hours on low or 4 hours on high. Preheat oven to 400° Cover a cookie sheet with foil then place a wire rack over the top. Combine BBQ sauce with remaining ½ cup Dr. Pepper. Mix well. Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker, placing on rack. Brush tops with sauce. Bake for 15 minutes, flip and brush other side. Bake 15 minutes more. Continue this a total of 4 times, basting all 4 sides. If there is remaining sauce, serve at the table.
