BBQ Pulled BeefWe've eaten Pulled Chicken and Pork but not roast and it was delicious! Our favorite bottled BBQ sauce is Sweet Baby Ray's or a local place here in Cincinnati, Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce and that's the sauce I used for this recipe! I did save a cup or so for serving so we could add a little right on to the sandwich! Love the Brioche Bun and they were fantastic with this recipe! Cole Slaw was a perfect side with the sandwich! Some may like to put cole slaw right on their sandwich! We thought the BBQ sauce complimented the bun very well! Great Dinner! Recipe from One Pot Recipes2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil 3 pound Boneless chuck roast, trim excess fat 2 Tablespoons minced garlic 1 cup onion, diced 1 (28 ounces) bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce, saving a cup or so for serving salt & pepper, to taste Brioche Buns Cole Slaw, if desired Preheat oven to 325° Heat oil in an oven safe nonstick pot over medium-high heat. Add the roast and sear on all the sides. Add garlic and onion and sauté 3 minutes. Add barbecue sauce, salt, pepper and mix everything together until roast is fully coated. Cover and cook in the oven for 3 hours, making sure to mix everything together halfway through. Remove from oven and shred meat. Serve on Brioche Buns and Cole Slaw if desired. Add some extra sauce on sandwich if desired.
