For Your SaladGarlic Butter CroutonsCan you imagine sitting around eating croutons like you would chips? Well that's exactly what my hubby did! They are that good! I made Cheeseburger Salad and it calls for homemade croutons but the recipe from The Pioneer Woman calls for cooking the bread in a buttered skillet and that's the way I have made them before but this time I wanted to make the croutons the way we make them at work! It took this salad to the next level of goodness! The crispy taste of garlic butter is amazing! I've never tasted such a good crouton before these! A must try when you need croutons! You'll never go back to store bought or any other way of making them homemade! I'll say these are "The Bomb" 6 hamburger buns, cubed 1 cup butter, melted 1 teaspoon garlic powder Preheat oven to 325° Melt butter and add garlic powder. Mix well. Cut buns into cubes and place in a medium bowl. Pour melted butter mixture over buns and mix well. I used my gloved hands. Make sure all the cubes get good and buttery. Place on a baking sheet and bake 8 minutes and check to see if they are at your desired crispiness. 8 minutes is perfect for our liking. You can bake a few minutes longer if you like them crispier. Remove from oven and cool slightly. They are great served warm. Save leftovers in an air tight container.
