Cheesecake Bars With A Touch Of CherryThese were delicious and easy to make! I decided to add cherry pie filling to half of the dish since I love cherries and thought it would be good and I was right and it tasted like creamy cherry pie! Yummy! I did have to bake it a little longer than 20 minutes because the cherry side took a little longer! I bought this spring plate just for this recipe and went back the next day to buy the matching bowl and the entire collection was sold out so I ended up buying the placemat! Next time I won't think about it and I'll just buy it! 2 refrigerated tubes of crescent rolls 2 (8 ounce packs each) cream cheese, softened 1/3 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 egg cherry pie filling Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 baking dish. Lay 1 pack crescent rolls in dish and push seams together. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla. Spread on top of crescent rolls. Add cherry pie filling. Spread evenly. I only made 1/2 with cherries. Lay 2nd roll of crescent rolls on top, pushing seams together. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool then cut into squares and refrigerate.
