Cheesy Brown Sugar Pork ChopsI loved the way the fresh garlic tasted on these pork chops! The brown sugar too! It wasn't to sweet at all, just a hint of sweetness! We don't have pork chops often but we like them! Hubby tolerates them! I just need to make pork chops once in awhile so we can get a break from beef and chicken! I would make these again! They ooey gooey cheese tops these chops nicely with the garlic and brown sugar underneath! Yum! Recipe adapted from BEYER BEWARE4 boneless pork chops, 1 inch thick, thawed 1 garlic clove, cut in half ½ cup brown sugar 2 tablespoons butter, melted 1 teaspoon paprika sea salt and cracked black pepper, to taste 1½ cups shredded Colby Jack cheese Preheat oven to 350° Rub both sides of pork chops with garlic and brown sugar. Let sit 15 minutes. Place in sprayed baking dish and drizzle butter over top. Sprinkle with paprika, salt and pepper. Bake 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature is 155 degrees. Don't over bake. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
