Browned Butter Honey SalmonMmmmm, Mmmmm, Good! We love salmon and I like finding new ways to make it! I adapted this recipe from CAFE DELITESThe butter, honey, garlic and lemon made for one awesome sauce! The honey sweetened it up and gave it great caramelization! It stuck to the fillets like glue! Perfect! We enjoyed our dinner very much! 4 Tablespoons butter 4 Tablespoons honey 1 Tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice 2 cloves garlic, minced 4 Salmon Fillets, about 1½ pounds Sea salt, to taste Lemon wedges, to serve Preheat your broiler to high heat. In a skillet, oven proof if you have one, brown butter over medium heat, swirling pan occasionally for about 3 minutes, or until the foam settles. Add the honey, lemon juice and garlic. Stir well and saute 1 minute. Remove from heat. Pour out half of the browned butter from the skillet and reserve for later. Add the salmon to the butter in the pan and sear each fillet skin side down 3-4 minutes or until golden. Flip each fillet and remove skin. It comes off easily with a knife or spatula. Continue cooking 3-4 more minutes making sure to get the salmon in the butter mixture. Transfer the salmon skillet or use a baking sheet and drizzle remaining butter mixture that you set aside on salmon. Broil 3-4 more minutes. To serve, season with salt to taste. Add lemon if desired.
