Crockpot Italian Sausage, Onions & Peppers
My hubby loves crushed tomatoes and I love recipes that use them! This recipe is totally opposite from the normal State Fair/Festival Sausage with Onions & Peppers! It has an awesome sauce that comes together as it cooks in the crockpot! The green peppers flavor this sauce to out of this world good! Along with the red peppers, onions and seasoning, it makes an Italian sauce that could be used on a lot of Italian dishes! Who would think that plain crushed tomatoes would turn out to be a delicious Italian sauce?
The Sweet Italian Sausage takes this dish to the top! Will be making this again!
The original recipe can be found on Hugs & Cookies xoxo
