Candy Corn HugsWhat a great Halloween treat! I think they would make a great Thanksgiving treat too because they look like the little turkey crafts we made in school! The sweet, salty combination is wonderful! Hubby said the candy corn with the Hug chocolate tasted somewhat like caramel! So easy to put together and so quick to disappear! I made them early Saturday morning and Saturday evening they were gone! Great little munchy! Recipe adapted from The Pumpkin Patch www.hannahspumpkinpatch.com/2011/09/candy-corn-pretzels.html60 snack size square or round pretzels 60 pieces Hugs Candy Kisses (must be Hugs since they melt better than Kisses) 60 pieces candy corn Preheat oven 300° Using a cookie sheet, line up pretzels. Un-wrap candy Hugs and top each pretzel with a Hug. Place in oven and bake 4-7 minutes depending on your oven heat or until Hugs are soft but not completely melted. Remove from oven and place 1 candy corn on each Hug pretzel and push down gently, flattening out the chocolate a little. If it doesn't flatten easily, you will want to bake them a few more minutes. Refrigerate 10 minutes and remove. Let sit out at room temp until completely cooled. You don't want to refrigerate to long as the candy corn will get hard.
